In the waning months of my 30th year in this world, I'd like to express special Hakaras HaTov to Rav Ephraim Luft of Bnei Brak (Committee for Jewish Music) for clarifying why this "issue" is so confusing to me and difficicult to "get" (quoted in Jpost article):

"This is an issue that people over 30 understand very well what I am talking about and those under 30 have more difficulty understanding,"

I guess I have a few weeks left to embrace my 'tween-ness.

BTW- Gedolim been trying to "eradicate treif, foreign pop"- and music that exploits children- from the Jewish music scene for a long time!

P.S. I hope this doesn't upset the Heller guys too much
